Gay iStripper - Game Review

Introduction

iStripper has long been a trustworthy and well known name since it has been around seemingly forever. We are a long time off from 1998 and the first iteration of desktop strippers then known as Virtuagirl and Deskbabes. The newest version is modern with a sleek newly designed downloadable software experience. In this review we will be looking at the gay version of iStripper or as I like to call it, the male stripper version.

Art And Graphics

When I reviewed the female version of iStripper I was blown away by the graphical quality of the girls and the sleek user interface. It had a stunning level of detail and presented a seamless and enjoyable experience. While the male version inherits the still sleek and smooth graphical user interface in all of its glory sadly the same cannot be said for the male strippers themselves. The developers behind iStripper have seemingly dipped a toe in the world of male strippers and that is about it. It all comes off as a sort of afterthought. It is like they added male strippers just to say they did. The male strippers are all medium quality, to my eyes they looked very bad. Unlike the girls, the guys have clipping and artifacting surrounding their bodies as they dance in front of your desktop applications. I searched the store frantically for higher quality male dancers but sadly could find none. Also missing were any dancers of other ethnicities other than white. And lastly, there were no couples or duo shows available unlike the females. Despite the graphical downsides, many particular individuals who specifically love male dancers would be able to look past this for such a unique experience on their desktop.

Gameplay

The experience of Gay iStripper is about watching strip shows on your desktop. If we were talking about the girls, I would be telling you that you can find anything to match your personal desires. However, we are speaking of the males, and unfortunately diversity is not something you will find here. If you like white masculine guys then this is going to okay for you, as long as you don't mind the low quality of the actual video. The guys do come with a bio and several included media items like photo galleries, videos, and different show types which is appreciated. You can easily adjust the size of your male stripper to your liking and skip right to the nudity and more hardcore stuff whenever you want. You can mute the music or the stripper audio if you want and also can use your own music. The store and your library of items you have already bought share the same amazing filtration and advanced search interface to easily find what you are looking for based on numerous traits. The live cam models and virtual reality content is still here from my last review of the female version but sadly, none of it contains guys but for some reason is still advertised in the gay version of the app.

Sound

The sound is just as good as the female version but I found no guys that I could see that had ambient audio. The music is still there though and so is your ability to import your own custom tracks. You can mute the audio any time you want and still hear the ambient audio (if it existed.). When reviewing the girl version we noticed some of them talk dirty, moan, and you could also hear other ambient sounds, but with the men I did not see or hear this. It is likely more male models will be added soon with expanded features.

Conclusion

In conclusion, iStripper is a great alternative to for any man or woman to enjoy instead of going out to a strip club. Whether you tend to spend too much money, you just don't like going out, or you prefer the added customization and control of a simulation, this can be a very hot solution for many needs. The prices are very reasonable, it will cost you about 5 bucks to unlock the full dance and show of the average guy and you own it forever after that. That beats going out on a Friday night and spending 300 dollars on drinks and strippers. Also, how many times have you gone to the club and found out all the dancers are snatched out crack whores far beyond their prime? That will never happen in iStripper! The gay version of iStripper doesn't match the girl version, but it isn't all bad. It is still a very unique experience of having a male stripper on your desktop ready to entertain you whenever you feel the itch for some fun. I feel like the team at iStripper put straight guys in charge of this gay venture, their heart is definitely not in it, and some of the content is proof of that. The graphical quality of the male strippers in comparison to the female ones lacking. My only hope and the likely scenario is that this is early on in the development of this feature and that in the near future more guys will be added. They need to add tons more ethnic diversity, they need to start stocking the store with the high quality types of items you find in the female store, and they need to put a little heart into this for the benefit of all gay men and lonely house wives everywhere.
